Manheim Township School District
Furthering the school district’s ongoing commitment to ensuring student safety, these two projects implemented security enhancements to the entry areas at two schools.
At Brecht elementary, a modern canopy was removed and replaced with a historic reference design that was compatible with the Tudor style of the original building. Automatic sliding doors were replaced with a secure entry system and gate to prevent young students from running right into the car and bus pickup/dropoff lane.
Manheim Township High School
At Manheim Township High School, an interior renovation carefully separated student and visitor entries, providing multiple control points and waiting areas before visitors are permitted into the school building. This reorganization has improved security and created a more efficient workplace for staff to serve students and teachers.
